The hormones in a person’s body fluctuate as they age, for women more than men especially. The right amount of protein is a start, but getting the right amount of the right fats also makes a difference. Omega-3 fatty acids are a beneficial addition, and can be found in abundant amounts in foods such as salmon, avocados, and the egg yolks of free-range eggs. Hormones play the major role in a woman’s body. Puberty, menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause are all caused with shifting hormone levels.
